Stopped here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The prices were great and the selection was wide. The wait staff is very attentive. I enjoyed my broccoli and cheese omelette with bacon and hash browns. I was a nice large serving. I like Annamarie's but it gets very crowded and it's a small tight space. This place is roomy and busy, but I didn't have to wait. Great gem in Spring City!

Tried this one time with my family and it was like any other diner experience. Decent meatloaf, wish I had tried some of their breakfast instead. Favorite tidbit: 90+ years old is 50% off and 100+ years old eat free. I hope I can meet that many years from now!

Stopped at the Spring Ford Diner the other day while out in the King of Prussia area for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla and it was delicious. Tomatoes were fresh, chicken was flavorful and the quesadilla was thin and crisp. The only bad part about this review was that I wasn't given the buffalo chicken quesadilla that I ordered, and instead I was given the original chicken quesadilla. But as I said earlier, it was delicious nonetheless. Besides the great taste and flavor of the meal, I chose to give this review 5 stars because of the service. After the meal I went to pay at the front and explained that I wasn't given exactly what I ordered, but I was still very pleased with the meal. The woman was very nice and friendly. She apologized for the mishap and took 10% off my bill. This might not sound like much but she was so nice and the service was so pleasant that I can't help but give it anything less than 5 stars. If you're ever in the Royersford/KOP area and are looking for a diner, eat at Spring Ford.

One of my favorite places in PA! Decided to come here before visiting Pennhurst. We were on a time crunch and had less than 45 min to eat and be out. The staff was accommodating seeing as we had a large party of 10. We were expecting below average and got the opposite! This place was delicious! I can't remember what everyone else had but the crabwich sandwich that I had was great! It was fresh and served on Texas style toast with fries and a pickle. They also had a soup and salad bar worth the purchase of an entree. It was small but good. I had a cup of lobster bisque with visible pieces of lobster and a fresh salad spread with all the fixins including bread and butter. Every single person in our party loved their food, no complaints here! I wish Iived closer to visit again.

First time there. Friendly staff. Large dining area. No wait. Clean. Food was good. I had the shrimp scampi. My sons had pancakes and a burger. Everything was excellent.

It's better then you're average dinner. I came to Royersford to go to Anna Marie's but couldn't wait in line. I was very happy with the service. I order pancakes and I was pleased and I am particular about my pancakes.

I feel it's hit or miss with breakfast. I've eaten breakfast here and it's been amazing, but then other times it's not been great. The service has always been great and prices are affordable.

Good homey PA diner... good food & value. Locals are living their lives and enjoying their local meals. No chain-franchise crap here.

For a diner breakfast or brunch, this is terrific. Very good quality food, healthy portions, good friendly attentive service, broad menu, lots of space, quick check-out, easy parking. Lots of families, kids, seniors, a real mix, very comfortable. I especially like their home fries, made with real boiled potatoes, not frozen pre-made.

We drove all the way to Royersford to try Annamarie's on July 5. We were very disappointed they were closed. Someone walking by suggested Spring-Ford diner and my disappointment about missing breakfast at Annamarie's faded. We shared the meat lovers omelet and blueberry pancakes. Both were very good.

I drive all the way over to Spring Ford Diner from Norristown, PA, for their excellent pie and coffee -- some of the best diner coffee ever. Their coffee is tasty and full-bodied, but they manage to avoid that terrible dichotomy of diner coffee: weak brown water or harsh, hair-on-your-tongue bitterness. They get pie from Shady Maple, always excellent, but have lots of yummy cakes as well. The two meals I've had there have been above-average; no complaints, but not terribly memorable. Great place to go for a reliable meal and the best pie and coffee I've found in Montgomery/Chester/Bucks area.

Dead average. Stopped for breakfast on Mother's day 2013 so some of the issues I will relate may be due to large mother's day crowd. This restaurant has a mix of booths and tables but most of the tables are sized for large groups. So ask for a booth or expect to wait during busy times. Two of the omelets were described as very cheesy and very good. A western omelet was just OK. And the eggs and bacon were so-so. The noise level was fairly high until the crowd cleared somewhat. Considering the crowd the waitress did a good job. During the long wait for a seat, I did observe a lot of chumminess with customers. It appears they get many regulars. Restrooms were fairly clean considering the large crowd. There is plenty of parking.

Well, I have to apologize to our normal breakfast joint but I had to do it. They were closed today due to the snow and we had no choice. I'm a very loyal customer to our normal breakfast spot so now I feel like I cheated on my girlfriend with another. However, sometimes you are just forced to put your fork into another's pancakes. And today was that day. I was told about a month ago about this place but never really saw the point in going here. My favorite place was a few blocks closer so there was no need to cross the bridge and enter into the forbidden wasteland known as Spring City. This morning we had no choice though. And to be honest, I'm glad I did. We both ordered the #7 Spring Ford special. That's two pancakes or french toast, two eggs, and two pieces of sausage or bacon. Not bad for $7. Add in a side of hash browns and I was all set. The pancakes were great. Light, fluffy and with just enough crust on em. My eggs were also cooked exactly as I asked them to be (over easy) and the hash browns were nice and crispy on the outside the way they should be made. The service was great too. Everything just hit the spot this morning after shoveling out the sidewalk and cars from our little snowstorm. Hopefully, I don't show up on an episode of Cheaters because of this...

It is what it should be. Sick to the basics and you can't go wrong. It is also a big space so there is rarely a wait even at the busiest times. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later on the weekends when you really NEED diner food.

Breakfast anytime was great... His portions done right.... Staff was really friendly and kept in view. Reuben and fries were done right. Really good fries!

After posting on the Diners facebook page I recieved a repsonse form them as posted below. "I assure you that the "boss"/cook/owner did not run his finger through your omelette. He would have gladly made you another omelette or anything else if requested. It is not our style to seek revenge on customers. The server did not conv...ey the proper information to you either. You should not have had to pay for your omelette- she was instructed by the owner to have it removed. She was also instructed to explain that the spanish omelette is made with cheddar cheese (yellow and melted inside) and salsa (which can sometimes be a little watery). My sincere apology for the misunderstanding. I will gladly refund you the cost of the spanish omelette and give you a gift certificate for another meal. I can leave these items at the diner with the hostess. Or you can call the diner and leave your name and address and I will mail it to you. Again, I am very sorry for the misunderstanding. Heather, Owner" I politely rejected the offer for myself however I did ask that the offer be extended to the next Veteran or active person serving in the United States Armed Forces. I will now up my rating to a 2 star due to the response from the owner. However I personally will not be eating there again.

The salad bar was OK. I ordered the meatloaf and my partner ordered the quesadilla. When the the meal came to the table I was confused I thought that they brought me the liver. It seemed that the cook grilled it to warm it up. The meat was the most dry thing that I very tasted. The waitress seem surprised when I sent it back. They did remove the charge for the meat load but did charge me for the salad bar and baked potato. I don't believe that i will be dining here again.
